Commercial truck OEM Wabash has added Milton, Ontario-based Transport Trailer Sales to its dealer network.

The deal expands access to Wabash’s trailers, truck bodies, parts and service across the Greater Toronto Area and eastern Canada, according to a Wabash release today. The decision also aligns with Wabash’s strategy to improve responsiveness by supporting fleets closer to where they operate and providing a range of solutions across local, regional and national operations.

“Transport Trailer Sales brings strong customer relationships, proven service capabilities and a strategic location near Highway 401,” Drew Schwartzhoff, chief commercial officer at Lafayette, Ind.-based Wabash, stated in the release. “Together, we can help customers maximize uptime, extend equipment performance and lower long-term operating costs across the region.”

Wabash reported $303.3 million in net sales in the first quarter, down 20.3% year over year, according to its May 1 earnings release.
