Ram has announced a new 10-year/100,000-mile limited powertrain warranty for its 2026 model-year full-size trucks and vans, making it the longest standard powertrain warranty in the segment.
The coverage applies to the Ram 1500, 2500, 3500, Chassis Cab 3500/4500/5500 and ProMaster vans sold in the U.S., excluding battery-electric vehicles and fleets, according to a Ram news release. The warranty, which includes retail and lease customers, covers the engine, transmission, transfer case, driveshafts, differentials and axles for original owners.
Nearly 80% of new truck buyers now finance vehicles for more than five years, according to the release. The company says the extended warranty is part of a broader product strategy, which includes 25 new announcements over the next 18 months.
Ram’s new warranty program further expands the company’s presence in off-road, commercial, and performance segments, according to the release. For 2025, the company has improved its light-duty and heavy-duty pickups, expanded its sport truck lineup, and introduced the new Ram 1500 RHO, which delivers the highest horsepower per dollar in the off-road category.
In the commercial space, the 2025 Chassis Cab line received updates for better upfitter integration, while the ProMaster remains the segment leader in cargo space, according to the release. Aligned under Stellantis’ global Pro One commercial division, Ram continues to grow worldwide with models ranging from the compact Ram 700 to the heavy-duty 5500 Chassis Cab.
