North Mill Equipment Finance has added Becky Ercolino as vice president of legal and Michael Lefkowitz as vice president of credit as the independent equipment lender expands its leadership team.

Ercolino brings more than 30 years of leasing and equipment finance experience, including commercial litigation, bankruptcy, recovery strategy and legal operations, according to a Sept. 22 North Mill Equipment Finance (NMEF) release. She previously held leadership roles with Canon Financial Services, LEAF Financial and Marlin Business Services.

Lefkowitz has more than 20 years of credit experience across equipment finance and small-business banking. He previously held senior credit roles with Marlin Business Services, TD Bank, WSFS Bank, Summit Funding Group and Civista Leasing & Finance. His experience includes financial analysis and underwriting for high-volume application-only transactions and complex, committee-level credits, according to the release.

The appointments add experience to NMEF’s legal and credit functions as the company continues to grow, Chairman and Chief Executive David Lee stated in the release.

Norwalk, Conn.-based NMEF works with third-party referral sources to finance small- to mid-ticket commercial equipment leases and loans ranging from $15,000 to $3 million and up to $5 million for investment-grade opportunities, according to the release. The lender is majority owned by an affiliate of investment firm InterVest Capital Partners.
