Investment firm Peakline Partners acquired Kalon Capital, a mid-ticket equipment finance company.
The deal expands Peakline’s equipment finance and direct origination businesses, Peakline announced in a Sept. 22 release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Stamford, Conn.-based Kalon, which launched in April, serves equipment industries including manufacturing, industrial, construction and technology. Nicole Torraco will continue to lead Kalon as founder and chief executive.
The acquisition “aligns perfectly” with Peakline’s long-term vision, Executive Managing Director Kevin O’Donnell stated in the release.
As Chicago-based Peakline continues to scale its efforts in “differentiated, tax-advantaged private credit on behalf of our investors, we are excited to expand our capabilities in various segments across equipment finance,” co-founder and Executive Managing Director Chris Boehm stated in the release.
