Innovative Lease Services has partnered with Acquis to add a post-activation insurance solution to its equipment finance process.

The solution will reduce work managing customer insurance certificates and help ILS confirm financed assets are protected when agreements begin, according to an Aug. 11 company release. It also will support faster funding decisions and provide claims assistance after equipment loss or damage.

The solution would help ILS reduce administrative complexity, fund transactions more efficiently and verify equipment protection, Acquis’ Chief Commercial Officer James Rudolf said.

The partnership supports ILS’ growth by reducing administrative work and removing a customer friction point, Chief Executive Andrew Nere said.

Founded in 2009, Acquis provides insurance administration and customer service for equipment finance and leasing companies, according to the company. It has U.S. operations in Philadelphia, plus headquarters in Amsterdam and Newport, Wales, and supports more than 100 leasing brands in 17 countries.

Founded in 1986, Carlsbad, Calif.-based ILS provides equipment financing and working capital from $5,000 to $5 million to small and midsize businesses, according to the release. It also offers vendor finance programs for new and used equipment.
