Royal Media’s newly expanded agenda for the 2023 Equipment Finance Connect emphasizes educational sessions on best practices for finance operations.

Equipment Finance Connect, taking place Feb. 27 and 28 at the Westin Charlotte, includes engaging workshops, roundtable discussions and professional networking with equipment dealers and lenders.

View the full event agenda here.

Day 1

The first day features a presentation on creating value through finance, insurance and aftermarket products, roundtable discussions on best position financing for equipment sales, and multiple networking opportunities.

Creating value through finance, insurance and aftermarket products workshop will help attendees better understand “Right to Repair” legislation, cross-selling, and the current and future marketplace and products.

Roundtable discussions give attendees the opportunity to network with small groups while discussing developments in key segments of the equipment finance industry, and how to best position financing for equipment sales success.

Day 2

Day two of Equipment Finance Connect includes the fireside chat with Harold Ray, director of industrial finance at CIT Bank, and a presentation on the economic outlook and forecast for the equipment finance industry, presented by the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago.

Attendees will also hear from industry leaders on executing digitization of the sales process; best practices for handling customer and employee information; positioning finance operations for success in the coming year; and digital retailing.

CIT’s Ray has over 30 years’ experience in the equipment finance industry and has been with the equipment finance division at CIT group since 1992. CIT was the ninth-largest equipment lender at yearend 2021 with $16.2 billion in assets, according to the Monitor 100.

Digitization and customer information will be the focus for the early afternoon of the second day of the event, as Beckham Thomas, co-founder and chief executive of Trnsact, will discuss how to digitize the sales process while securing customer information and protecting the customer flow; and Kevin Landers, president of Rocketwise, will discuss how to manage information in the current regulatory landscape.

Equipment Finance Connect 2023 is the first industry event to offer equipment dealers one-on-one access to finance providers, and foster finance and insurance (F&I) best practices in the industry.

Confirmed lenders for the 2023 conference include Commercial Equipment Finance, DLL Financial Solutions Partner, First Citizens Bank, First Horizon, Trio Capital Group, and VFI. Confirmed vendors include Anderson Equipment Company, Craftsman Utility Trailer, EZ Equipment Rental, Newman Tractor, Ocala Tractor, and Tata International.
