BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions launches unified equipment finance platform
Platform powered by asset finance software firm Odessa
BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions has completed the launch of its equipment finance origination platform powered by asset finance software provider Odessa, establishing a unified operating model across eight European markets.
The platform first went live in Italy before expanding to France, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Ireland, the companies announced in an release on Oct. 8. BNP Paribas Leasing Solutions, the equipment finance subsidiary of French bank BNP Paribas, operates in 18 countries.
The platform unifies asset management, financial calculations and quotations into a single system. Its API-first architecture is designed to improve operational consistency, accelerate quote turnaround and simplify the launch of new products and capabilities.
BNP expects the platform to provide a foundation for the next phase of its transformation, including modernization of middle- and back-office operations.
