RB Global, a global marketplace for commercial equipment and vehicles, promoted Steve Steinberg to chief financial officer and reorganized leadership across its heavy equipment and automotive businesses.
Steinberg assumed the CFO role Oct. 7, succeeding Eric Guerin, whose last day was Oct. 6. Chief Operating Officer Steve Lewis is expected to depart Oct. 9, according to a filing today with the SEC.
Steinberg joined RB Global in 2016 as North America business unit CFO and later held senior positions overseeing global financial planning and advanced analytics. He most recently served as senior vice president and head of strategic planning and decision support, according to the filing. In his new role, Steinberg will focus on margin expansion, balance sheet flexibility and capital allocation.
The restructuring also established three executive positions:
- Shiv Dutt was named chief digital and strategy officer, overseeing enterprise technology, digital initiatives, and mergers and acquisitions strategy;
- Jake Lawson was named president of heavy equipment and transportation North America, overseeing sales, operations and marketing; and
- Sam Wyant was named president of auto North America and international, assuming responsibility for automotive sales, strategic accounts and international operations.
RB Global also expects full-year 2026 financial results at the high end of its estimated outlook, which projects gross transaction value growth of 9% to 11% and adjusted EBITDA of $1.5 billion to $1.55 billion, according to the filing.
