Equipment industry lenders and dealers will come together for Equipment Finance News’ upcoming webinar “Dealers and Lenders: Solving Shared Challenges,” on Tuesday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m. E.T.
Commercial Fleet Financing President Matt Manero, C.H. Brown Business Development Director Kit West and Anderson Equipment Co. Finance and Sales Administration Manager John Boy will join a 45-minute discussion moderated by EFN Associate Editor Quinn Donoghue on industry challenges, including volatile used-equipment values, changes in consumer behavior and shifting government regulations.

The outlook for equipment finance is mixed: Asking values for used heavy-duty and medium-duty construction equipment fell 6.6% year over year and 5.7% YoY in December, respectively, while equipment and software investment will grow at a projected annualized rate of 4.7% in 2025.
Dealers and lenders will have to navigate declining values while also capitalizing on new opportunities. These are just some of the issues the webinar panel will address. The following industry veterans will be joining:
- Manero founded Carrollton, Texas-based Commercial Fleet Financing in 1995. The company has funded more than $1 billion of deals to over 10,000 customers, focusing on transportation, construction and industrial equipment. He has published two books.
- West joined Wheatland, Wyo.-based lender C.H. Brown in 2020 and has worked as a mentor for Torch, a leadership development company, since 2023. He was previously the owner of Wheatland, Wyo.-based auto dealer Kit West Motors.
- Boy joined Bridgeville, Pa.-based equipment dealership Anderson Equipment Co. in 2018 after nearly 10 years in the banking sector, where he specialized in commercial underwriting and lending. He was named as one of EFN’s nine equipment finance executives to watch in 2024.
