Equipment rental software provider Quipli has launched a new integration with GPS tracking and fleet telemetry platform Hapn aimed at improving equipment visibility and operational workflows for rental companies.

The integration allows rental operators to access live equipment location, hour meter data and unit-level telemetry from Hapn directly within the Quipli platform, according to today’s Quipli release. By embedding telematics data into rental management workflows, the integration reduces the need for operators to switch between systems and manually reconcile equipment usage and movement.

The two platforms connect through a two-way API synchronization, according to the release. Real-time GPS and telemetry data flow from Hapn into Quipli, while asset information, naming conventions, assignments and rental status updates sync from Quipli back to Hapn as equipment is rented, returned, transferred or reassigned.

The integration supports rental companies operating multiple branches, fleets with more than 50 assets and businesses managing high-value or frequently moved equipment where utilization tracking and theft prevention are priorities, according to the release. Future updates to expand telemetry data further into order-level workflows, including surfacing live unit data on active rental orders, with the Hapn integration available to all Quipli customers, with companies able to activate the feature by adding Hapn hardware and services.
