Elite Equipment Rentals has acquired fellow equipment rental company ISG, expanding Elite’s presence in the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast as part of its national growth strategy.

The acquisition adds ISG’s locations and customer base across Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina and South Carolina to Elite’s operations, according to a June 2 Elite Equipment release. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

For Elite, the acquisition will strengthen fleet availability, parts support and service capabilities while improving response times for customers.

“The combination of Elite Equipment and ISG will diversify our geographic footprint, vendor partners, and customer base while meaningfully enhancing the combined offerings,” Chris Chapman, chief executive at Elite Equipment Rentals, stated in the release.

ISG will continue operating under its current brand in the near term as it integrates into Elite’s operations over time.

The acquisition comes amid increasing consolidation in the equipment rental industry, creating new financing opportunities.
