Gather AI, a Pittsburgh-based intralogistics technology company, has partnered with Burwell Material Handling in its first dealer network agreement.
Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Burwell will distribute Gather AI’s drone-based inventory management and material handling equipment vision solutions across 20 U.S. locations, according to an Aug. 18 Gather AI release. The partnership aims to boost warehouse efficiency by improving inventory accuracy, reducing cycle-counting hours, minimizing pallet emergencies, and increasing overall productivity.
Gather AI’s machine vision technology, developed at Carnegie Mellon University, integrates with existing warehouse setups without requiring infrastructure changes and can operate in cold storage, dark warehouses and narrow aisles. For dealers and end-users, the technology delivered measurable returns, according to the release, including:
