Gather AI creates camera system to streamline material handling ops

Warehouse technology provider Gather AI has pulled back the curtain on Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Vision, an AI-powered camera system designed to enhance material handling efficiency.
MHE Vision can be integrated with forklifts, pallet trucks and other material handling equipment, automatically tracking pallet movements such as loading, unloading and restocking, Gather AI announced in a March 17 release.
Key benefits of MHE Vision include automated pallet tracking, AI-powered dashboards for workflow optimization and seamless integration with existing real-time location systems. The system is compatible with all lift brands, with Noblelift and Slamcore as its first deployment partners. In addition, MHE Vision does not require any infrastructure changes, eliminating the need for additional power drops or network cables.
