Odessa launched Configurable Attributes, a code-free platform capability that allows asset finance organizations to add and manage data fields without custom development or vendor involvement.
The Philadelphia-based asset finance software provider said Configurable Attributes gives banks, captive finance companies and independent lenders more control over how they adapt the Odessa platform as data requirements change across asset classes, products, geographies and regulatory environments, according to a release today.
Client-created fields are instantly available across the platform, including in APIs, reports, data extracts and business rules that support pricing, approvals and workflows. The changes are managed through a workflow designed to maintain consistency, oversight and upgradeability.
Odessa designed the platform to reduce pressure on IT teams, professional services and platform modifications, according to the release. It said clients can use Configurable Attributes to synchronize data with systems such as CRMs, extend reporting models and automate business logic without writing code.
Chief Executive and President Joe Juliano said the tool allows clients to adapt the platform to changing business needs while maintaining the controls required for a asset finance system.
Configurable Attributes is available to Odessa clients worldwide, according to the release. Odessa provides a lease and loan platform for origination, servicing and remarketing for the equipment finance and auto finance industries.
