Vendor finance company DLL is seeing adoption of its global Equipment Showroom platform, a digital marketplace that enables buyers and sellers to complete transactions with no commissions or fees.
Adoption of the model reflects growing demand for transparent and cost-efficient equipment purchasing, according to a Nov. 18 DLL release. The platform surpassed 41 million euros ($47.5 million) in equipment sales, underscoring the need for tools that eliminate friction in the buying process and support sustainability through equipment circularity, according to the company.
The platform hosts pre-owned assets across agriculture, construction, transportation, health care and other sectors. Users can submit competitive bids or make immediate purchases via a “Buy Now” option. The site also offers market resources, including guides on used-equipment trends.
The marketplace is backed by DLL’s financing solutions, allowing customers to structure payments to preserve cash, spread costs or bundle equipment and services, according to the release. The company’s asset sales team brings more than 40 years of experience in remarketing end-of-lease equipment, and its expertise in used and refurbished equipment positions it to help partners reduce waste and operate more responsibly while supporting business goals.
