Equipment financier Channel has named Robert Moskovitz chief financial officer effective immediately.
Moskovitz will spearhead the lender’s financial strategy, capital markets and liquidity initiatives, according to a Feb. 17 Channel release. He replaced Eli Sethre, who transitioned to president of Elite, a subsidiary focused on partnerships with independent sales organizations.
Moskovitz was most recently CFO of Verdant Commercial Capital and previously spent 14 years as CFO of LEAF Commercial Capital. He is also a board member for the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association.
As of December, Minnetonka, Minn.-based Channel surpassed more than $1 billion in equipment finance originations over the course of nearly four years. The lender has funded more than $3 billion to more than 30,000 U.S. small businesses across many industries since its founding in 2009.
