In this 45-minute discussion moderated by EFN Editor Johnnie Martinez II, industry leaders will discuss what used equipment represents for many dealers, especially in terms of liquidity and on the lot, and how industry stakeholders can work together to support the used equipment market.
Used construction equipment retail or asking values dropped around 10% year over year in September, according to Sandhills Global market research. Meanwhile, equipment leasing and rental prices continued to rise in September, with truck, trailer and RV rental and leasing prices rising 1.3% YoY, finishing at an index value of 127.5, according to EFN’s Pricing Indices.
Yanuzzi has managed several business operations since joining 1st Equipment Finance 2021, including:
- Indirect Vendor Program, where she manages a sales team/territory east of the Mississippi;
- Commercial Bank Leasing, where she manages a sales team servicing the bank’s clients; and
- Bank Small Business, where she manages an inside sales team focused on client business development.
Prior to joining 1st Equipment Finance, Yanuzzi was managing director of Wilkes-Barre Township, Pa.- based F.N.B. Equipment Finance for 25 years, and helped build and manage a portfolio of just under $1 billion. F.N.B Equipment Finance was the 58th-largest equipment finance division by total assets in 2021, according to the 2022 Monitor 100.

- Justin Jones, corporate sales manager at Diamond Equipment in Nashville, Tenn. Jones is a 20-year veteran of the equipment industry who has held positions in equipment sales, rental and auctions, including serving as branch manager for Ahern Rentals in Nashville. He also was a manager in both equipment sales and rentals during the pandemic.
- Joe Lundvick, senior vice president and head of asset management at Mitsubishi HC Capital America. Lundvick began his career as a used-asset specialist more than 35 years ago. His experience includes evaluating, appraising, marketing, buying and selling used assets across multiple industries. He also has served as president of the Machinery Dealers National Association and as a past board member of the Association of Machinery and Equipment Appraisers. He is a certified equipment appraiser and a licensed auctioneer.
