AmeraMex International more than doubled revenue in the third quarter and returned to profitability on stronger demand for refurbished heavy equipment.
The Chico, Calif.–based refurbished heavy equipment company reported third-quarter revenue of $3.9 million, up 105% from $1.9 million a year earlier, according to an AmeraMex release today. AmeraMex posted net income of $208,641 after a $1 million loss in the prior-year quarter.
For the first nine months of 2025, revenue rose to $9.8 million from $9 million, an 8.9% increase year over year, according to the release. The company earned $549,791 during the period after posting a loss of $478,790 in the first nine months of 2024.
Equipment sales and other revenue reached $2.98 million, up 109% from $1.43 million a year earlier, according to the release. Rental and lease revenue totaled $915,124, a 75% increase from $522,842 in the third quarter of 2024.
For the first nine months of 2025, equipment sales reached $7.32 million, down 3% from $7.55 million last year, according to the release. Meanwhile rental and lease revenue climbed to $2.52 million, up 72% from $1.47 million.
AmeraMex purchased 14 used container handlers during the quarter for refurbishment and resale, according to the release. The company expects ongoing demand from logistics hubs, ports and distribution centers to support future sales and margins.
Both the sales and rental segments benefited from rising demand for refurbished material-handling equipment across logistics and port operations.
