Japanese equipment manufacturer Komatsu has introduced its latest wheel loader models, the WA475-11 and WA485-11, designed to improve productivity and operator comfort while reducing the cost of ownership.

The WA485-11 features up to 12% lower fuel consumption, 21% more engine power and a 13% faster climbing speed compared to its predecessor, the WA480-8, Komatsu announced in a March 11 release. Meanwhile, the WA475-11 offers up to 7% lower fuel consumption, 18% higher engine power and a 40% greater climbing speed than the WA475-10.

Both models incorporate Komatsu’s hydrostatic-mechanical transmission for improved fuel efficiency and performance. Operator-friendly features include a spacious four-pillar cab, angle feedback joystick steering and independent work control to reduce fatigue. Safety enhancements such as standard rear object detection and a deluxe LED light package are also included.

The third annual Equipment Finance Connect at the JW Marriott Nashville on May 14-15, 2025, is the only event for both equipment dealers and finance providers. Learn more and register here.
