Caterpillar has launched the Cat Fleet Bucket Program, enabling customers to outfit their machine buckets with Cat ground-engaging tools.
The program allows customers, regardless of brand, to use buckets from third-party manufacturers to standardize their fleets with Cat ground-engaging tools (GET), which are available in multiple configurations to fit specific applications, according to a July 11 Cat release. These tools are backed by Caterpillar’s 12-month warranties and supported through the global Cat dealer network.
The program supports a broad range of equipment, including compact and wheeled loaders, backhoe loaders, excavators, hydraulic mining shovels and rope shovels, according to the release. Caterpillar works with hundreds of local bucket manufacturers to ensure compatibility, allowing customers with mixed fleets to benefit from consistent performance, improved wear life and increased productivity.
Thousands of GET products are available, including adapters, tips, cutting edges and side protectors, according to the release.
Customers can contact any Cat dealer for warranty support and parts access. The program aims to deliver greater operational flexibility and streamlined GET management across a variety of worksite conditions.
