Einride, an end-to-end provider of autonomous and EV freight solutions, added 500 Tesla semi trucks to its fleet after achieving year-over-year growth during the first half of 2026.
Stockholm-based Einride will operate the trucks with its AI-powered fleet management platform, Saga, financing the vehicles entirely through third-party solutions, according to Einride’s earnings release today, its first since going public in June. The deployment, which triples Einride’s current fleet of EV trucks, will occur in phases over the next 24 months, with the first phase starting in September 2026.
“By financing fleet growth through asset-backed structures, we’re able to convert signed demand into operating revenue faster while minimizing dilution for our shareholders and executing towards our target to reach cash flow breakeven point in 2028,” Chief Financial Officer Anubhav Verma stated in the release.
Einride’s revenue increased 26% YoY through the first half of 2026 to $27 million, partly driven by its expanded partnership with Amazon. The company logged more than 5,400 driverless hours, up 64% on a sequential basis. Einride projects revenue to grow between 60% and 73% YoY in the second half of the year.
The company also recently partnered with commercial vehicle OEM DAF Trucks, following its $38.4 million acquisition of EV charging software company Flipturn.
