EquipmentShare’s OWN fleet expanded in the second quarter as investor demand remained strong.

OWN equipment reached $5.5 billion in original equipment cost (OEC), up 41.7% year over year, according to EquipmentShare’s Aug.13 10-Q filing with the SEC. Total fleet OEC rose 33.8% YoY to $9.9 billion, lifting OWN’s share 3.1 percentage points to 56.2%.

Institutional and ABS investors have supplied 45% of OWN OEC growth since 2024, the filing shows. All channels remain oversubscribed, Mark Wopata, chief data officer and executive vice president of finance, said during the company’s Aug. 13 earnings call.

Under the OWN program, investors buy equipment and lease it back under revenue-sharing agreements; EquipmentShare retains control and rents its machines through T3, according to the filing.
