Equipment Leasing and Finance Association President and Chief Executive Leigh Lytle will step down later this year following the completion of her contract.

The ELFA Board of Directors has begun the succession planning process, according to a release today by the trade group.

Lytle took the helm of the ELFA in 2023 with a goal to modernize the association, expand member value and strengthen the equipment finance industry’s advocacy efforts. During her tenure, ELFA saw several legislative wins, including permanent 100% bonus depreciation, permanent business interest deductibility and reforms to Section 1071 reporting requirements.

Lytle also helped drive innovation across the industry by modernizing legacy systems and embracing technology. Under her leadership, ELFA launched an AI assistant, called ELFie, which helps members navigate complex industry trends and analyze market data.

ELFA also expanded membership to include investors, refreshed its flagship events and established a strategic affiliation with the Certified Lease and Finance Professional Foundation, according to the release.

“I am incredibly proud of what our team, volunteer leaders and members have accomplished together,” Lytle stated in the release. “We challenged ourselves to think differently, embrace growth and build an organization positioned for the future. Today, ELFA is stronger, more agile and more impactful than ever before.”
