AI infrastructure provider QumulusAI has expanded its closed-end lease financing agreement with technology equipment finance firm TFC to roughly $123.6 million, up from the $26 million announced in May 2026.
Qumulus will use three-year leases to fund Nvidia Blackwell GPUs purchased in May and July 2026 to support its computing infrastructure, according to an Oct. 22 Qumulus release.
TFC financed 85% to 90% of the equipment costs under each lease schedule, with customer deposits covering the remaining balance. Qumulus did not issue additional equity to fund the purchases.
The amortized lease payment schedules imply a high-single-digit annualized interest rate. At the end of the three-year terms, QumulusAI can purchase the equipment or return it without further equipment obligations.
“We have funded our GPU deployments the same way since the start — with customer deposits, cash from capacity already in production and financing partners like TFC,” Qumulus Chief Executive Michael Maniscalco stated in the release. “Expanding this facility keeps that model in place as we scale, so the hardware is paid for by contracted demand rather than by our shareholders.”
