XCMG Hoisting Machinery Division delivered a complete wheeled and crawler crane fleet to Belgium-based Sarens Group, expanding the companies’ global lifting equipment partnership.
The delivery included XCA160H all-terrain cranes, XCR90 rough terrain cranes and an XLC18000M crawler crane, giving Sarens additional capacity for heavy-lift, crane rental, infrastructure and energy projects, according to an XCMG release today. Sarens, a crane rental and heavy-lift transport provider with operations in 65 countries, including the United States, has used XCMG equipment in more than 20 countries.
The delivery follows a joint research and development agreement and bulk equipment purchase contract signed in March, according to the release. The agreement expanded cooperation between the companies in product development, field applications, intelligent technologies and lifecycle services.
XCMG designed its XLC18000M crawler crane for large-scale wind, petrochemical and bridge construction projects, with an emphasis on high lifting capacity and rapid mobilization.
The Sarens fleet delivery reflects XCMG’s shift from equipment exports toward integrated lifting solutions supported by technology, manufacturing and global service capabilities, according to the release.
