VitalEdge Technologies launched an artificial intelligence platform designed to help heavy equipment dealers improve operations and decision-making across sales, service, parts and rental activities.
The Cary, N.C.-based dealer management system (DMS) provider introduced VitalityAI, an agent-based AI platform that integrates across its software to provide real-time operational insights and automation tools for equipment dealerships, according to today’s VitalEdge release.
VitalEdge designed the platform for heavy equipment dealers and rental operations, embedding AI agents within dealership workflows to analyze operational data and provide recommendations for technicians, managers and sales teams. The platform, created on Microsoft AI infrastructure, is intended to transform VitalEdge DMSs into systems that support operational decisions.
The rollout is happening in phases across the VitalEdge ecosystem, according to the release. The first component, the Insights Agent, launched in December 2025 and converts dealership data into operational insights, with additional AI agents and features to be introduced throughout 2026.
The platform focuses on four operational areas:
- Improving equipment uptime and service diagnostics;
- Optimizing rental fleet utilization and pricing;
- Improving parts inventory management; and
- Enhancing customer engagement.
Dealers participating in pilot programs reported faster diagnostics, more consistent repair times and improved knowledge-sharing among technicians.
