CraneWorks has formed a partnership with Hammar Lift to bring Hammar’s sideloader container-handling equipment to a broader U.S. market.

Under the agreement, Houston-based CraneWorks will serve as the United States installation, service and parts support partner for Hammar sideloaders, with its nationwide network supporting sales and aftermarket needs, according to a CraneWorks release today. Hammar Lift is the U.S. division of Hammar, a global manufacturer of sideloader trailers and superstructures based in Sweden.

CraneWorks is a full-service provider of crane rental, sales, parts and service across North America. The partnership expands CraneWorks’ offerings beyond traditional crane solutions into logistics, transport and specialized lifting applications, while strengthening Hammar’s U.S. footprint, according to the release. Hammar, founded in 1974, has delivered sideloaders to customers in more than 125 countries.

The collaboration aligns with CraneWorks’ plan to broaden lifting solutions and provide customers with versatile, efficient and safe equipment, according to the release. Hammar cited CraneWorks’ service capabilities and heavy-equipment expertise as key factors in selecting the company as its U.S. partner, as Hammar’s sideloaders combine hydraulic lifting cranes with a semi-trailer or truck, enabling a single operator to lift, transport and stack containers and flat racks, with integrated safety systems.

The partnership will begin with installations in the U.S., service support and localized parts supply to support Hammar equipment, according to the release.
