The average price of a new commercial vehicle, up to four model years old, is $113,326 today, while 2025 models in the market average $134,404.

Both use exclusive data collected by EFN and provide reference points for vehicle pricing. The data, which is specific to vehicles for sale, can be sorted by brand, condition, body style, price and model year.
New commercial vehicle inventory mixed across OEMs
The average commercial vehicle price is $52,713, according to EFN’s dashboard. The five largest available inventories by brand are Freightliner, International, Ford, Volvo and GMC.
Volvo vehicles make up the largest share of the new model year 2025 inventory data pool, followed by Kenworth and Mack, while Ford represented the largest share of MY 2024 new and used vehicles, followed by Isuzu and Peterbilt.

Used-truck prices at $46,063
The average used-truck price is $46,063, with units ranging from 0 to 26 years old, according to the new Current Truck Pricing Distribution dataset. Meanwhile, the average new truck price sits at $120,809, with units ranging from 0 to 4 years old.
The Current Truck Pricing Distribution dataset is interactive and breaks down values for trucks on the market and is sortable by make, model and type, as well as condition — new, used and certified pre-owned.

According to the data, the average used trailer price sits at $19,097, with units ranging from 4 to 28 years old. In addition, the average new trailer price is $69,614, with units ranging from 0 to 2 years old.
