Raimondi Cranes announced a definitive agreement to acquire Terex Tower Cranes, Terex Self-Erecting Cranes, Terex Rough Terrain Cranes and the U.S.-based Terex service and support hub from Terex Corporation.

Operating under Arada Industries, Milan, Italy-based Raimondi will add the operations to its Italian engineering base, significantly broadening its product portfolio and advancing its global growth strategy, according to a Sept. 2 Raimondi release. The acquisition marks the largest in Raimondi’s history and will add about 250 employees, bringing its total workforce to 400.

The deal includes facilities in Fontanafredda and Crespellano, Italy, along with Terex’s North American service hub in Wilmington, N.C. The integration enhances Raimondi’s ability to provide a wider range of cranes and aftermarket support, strengthening its competitive position in Europe, the Middle East and North America, according to the release.

Company executives said the acquisition creates synergies between Raimondi’s luffing jib cranes and Terex’s tower and rough terrain models, while also expanding into new categories such as self-erecting cranes. By leveraging Terex’s manufacturing footprint and distribution network, Raimondi expects to optimize procurement, streamline operations and achieve economies of scale, in addition to targeting $500 million in annual revenue by 2028.

Both companies pledged a seamless transition with minimal disruption. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2025, pending regulatory approvals.
