AUSTIN — The first full day of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s annual convention highlighted the equipment finance industry’s growth and expertise.
Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) board Chairman Robert Boyer began today’s opening session with an organization update to attendees. Following this, Boyer and ELFA President and Chief Executive Leigh Lytle presented the Michael J. Fleming Distinguished Service Award to Donna Yanuzzi, executive vice president of 1st Equipment Finance.
The morning’s breakout sessions covered data integrity, market expansion, legal issues and the global supply chain. The afternoon’s sessions included panels on the Equipment Leasing and Finance Foundation’s new horizon report highlighting industry economic and data trends, how to build a modern equipment finance platform, climate finance and workforce development trends.
The event also featured multiple smaller presentations with topics ranging from technology to community involvement. More than 1,155 equipment finance professionals attended the event throughout the day, marking the largest convention in more than 20 years, according to ELFA.
