Equipment lender Baystone Government Finance announced the retirement of Mark Skochdopole, vice president and credit underwriter for all state, local and tribal contracts, after nearly 22 years with the firm.
Dustin Moody, vice president of credit risk management, will succeed Skochdopole, according to a release today by Manhattan, Kan.-based Baystone, which is the government and non-profit lending division of KS StateBank. Moody joined KS StateBank in 2013 and has held multiple roles in commercial lending and credit risk.
Skochdopole, meanwhile, joined KS StateBank in 2003 and had been part of the Government Finance division since 2004, playing a central role in underwriting equipment lease transactions nationwide.
Baystone specializes in tax-exempt equipment leases for public entities and has one of the largest teams in the United States focused on this niche.
