Stoughton Trailers expanded its dealer network by launching Sovereign Trailers, a dedicated commercial trailer dealer, in partnership with Peach State Truck Centers to serve customers across Georgia, Alabama and Mississippi.

Sovereign Trailers will operate as an authorized Stoughton dealer, offering new and used trailer sales along with parts and service support through Peach State’s existing locations, according to today’s Peach State release. Financing will be provided through Sovereign Equipment Financial, an affiliated equipment finance company led by Peach State Truck Centers’ financial team, creating an integrated sales, service and financing platform for regional fleet customers.

The move strengthens Stoughton’s presence in the Southeast while leveraging Peach State Truck Centers’ decades of experience in the commercial vehicle market, according to the release. Peach State, founded in 1974, operates 14 locations across Georgia and Alabama and employs more than 700 people.

Sovereign Trailers aims to address the growing demand for trailers in the region by combining equipment sales with service infrastructure and financing options on a single platform, according to the release. The companies expect the model to streamline equipment acquisition and lifecycle management for fleets.

The fourth annual Equipment Finance Connect, a crucial industry event for equipment lenders and dealers, takes place at the C. Baldwin Hotel in Houston May 18-19. Learn more about the event and register here.
