OEM Scag Power Equipment has partnered with Huntington Bank and lending fintech Octane to streamline its financing operation.

The collaboration brings Scag dealers into Huntington’s “Powered by Octane” program, unifying the sales and financing process into a single platform, according to a July 21 Octane release. Qualified borrowers will receive prime financing offers from Huntington, and near-prime applicants will get access to financing through Octane’s captive lender, Roadrunner Financial.

The dealer platform delivers a fast loan application process, near-instant credit decisions and digital tools for managing loan terms, documentation and workflows. Dealers can customize financing options and complete transactions more efficiently, according to the release.

“Our work with Octane continues to strengthen how we serve dealers at the point of sale,” Tim Skinner, managing director of consumer lending at Huntington, stated in the release. “Bringing Scag into the program further expands our reach in the outdoor power equipment market and reinforces our commitment to delivering fast, flexible financing solutions that support dealers and customers alike.”

Huntington and Octane also partnered with outdoor power equipment manufacturers Ariens and Gravely earlier this year.
