Flyntlok, a cloud-based dealer management system for heavy equipment, has secured a $36 million growth investment from Mainsail Partners.
The dealer management system (DMS) provider intends to use the funds to accelerate product innovation and bring AI to equipment dealerships, according to an Oct. 8 Mainsail release. With the backing of Mainsail’s AI Labs, Flyntlok plans to roll out tools to help dealers improve efficiency and identify revenue opportunities.
The company also intends to expand dealer support initiatives, reinforcing the hands-on service model that has driven its growth, according to the release. Founded by Sean McLaughlin inside his own dealership, Craig Taylor Equipment, Flyntlok’s platform supports hundreds of dealer locations across heavy equipment, truck and outdoor power markets.
The DMS streamlines operations such as point-of-sale, work orders, rentals and inventory planning, with integrations for QuickBooks and Sage Intacct, according to the release. Flyntlok was one of eight participants in the Tech Demo Challenge at Equipment Finance Connect 2025.
Mainsail Partners plans to help Flyntlok accelerate innovation and apply AI to unlock value for dealers, according to the release. The company plans to showcase new AI-driven features at the Equip Exposition later this month in Louisville, Kentucky.
