Caterpillar announces new role for Kaiser
Equipment manufacturer Caterpillar named Jason Kaiser as the new president for the company’s Energy & Transportation (E&T) segment, effective Jan. 4.
Kaiser is senior vice president of Caterpillar’s electric power division, which operates under the E&T segment, according to a Caterpillar release. He began his career with Caterpillar in May 2000, and has worked in several roles across the company’s electric power division since May 2001, according to LinkedIn
As E&T segment president, Kaiser will continue to oversee the electric power division, while assuming responsibility over the following divisions: electrification and energy solutions, industrial power systems, large power systems, oil and gas and marine, rail, solar turbines, and Cat Reman’s remanufacturing services, according to the Caterpillar release.
SLR Equipment Finance expands development efforts
SLR Equipment Finance added Vince Monteleone as a senior vice president of vendor sales and Jeffrey Schaefer as associate vice president of direct sales as it expands its direct business development and vendor business development teams, according to two SLR Equipment Finance’s press releases.
Monteleone held equipment sales roles with GE Capital, Wells Fargo, and most recently an almost five-year stint with Toyota Industries Commercial Finance as a regional sales manager. Schafer served as managing member of contract, leasing and renovation services provider Odin Advisory Services for the past three years after more than 26 years with IBM’s financing arm, IBM Credit Corp.
Ceribelli joins Channel as chief revenue and innovation officer
Equipment finance lender Channel appointed 34-year financial services veteran Rob Ceribelli chief revenue and innovation officer, effective Nov. 30, according to a Channel release.
Ceribelli spent 20 years with equipment finance lender DLL in various roles across the company’s offices in the United States and the United Kingdom. He began his career in the equipment finance and financial services sector at GE Capital. His new responsibilities include developing Channel’s end-to-end operational efficiency, product innovation, and revenue growth strategies across business segments.
Ceribelli also chairs the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s Small Ticket Business Council Steering Committee.
Old National Bank appoints Goldfeder as chief credit officer
Old National Bank appointed Carrie Goldfeder chief credit officer. The bank oversees Old National Equipment Finance, which has lifetime originations of nearly $1 billion, according to the company’s website.
Goldfeder joins Old National Bank following an eight-year stint with Capital One as a senior credit officer. Goldfeder also spent two separate stints with GE Capital, totaling more than 20 years with the equipment financier since 1994.
Stengel joins Truist Financial as chief legal officer
Truist Financial hired Scott Stengel as chief legal officer and senior executive vice president. In addition, Stengel assumes the Truist Board of Directors’ corporate secretary role and serves as an operating council member for the bank, according to a Truist press release.
Stengel, who served as Ally Financial’s general counsel for more seven years, was previously executive vice president and general counsel at UMB Financial. In his role, he will oversee Truist’s legal affairs and government relations.
Stengel succeeds Truist’s first chief legal officer, Ellen Fitzsimmons, who is retiring after four years in the role following the bank’s formation after the bank merger between BB&T and SunTrust Bank, according to LinkedIn.
