Doosan Bobcat North America President Mike Ballweber has announced his retirement effective July 31.

Scott Park, chief executive and vice chairman of parent company Doosan Bobcat, will serve as interim president until a successor is named, according to a Bobcat release today.

Ballweber joined the company in 1998 and was named North American president in 2019, playing a key role in strengthening Bobcat’s dealer network, expanding its product line and advancing innovation initiatives.

The compact equipment manufacturer reported $1.5 billion in the first quarter, up 6.2% year over year, with North American revenue rising 3% YoY, according to its April 28 earnings release. Bobcat’s Q1 operating profit rose 2.6% YoY to $141 million.
