Agricultural equipment manufacturer Demco has partnered with DealerDog to offer point-of-sale commercial equipment financing through its dealer network.
Participating Demco dealers can offer financing on new and used agricultural equipment with terms up to 72 months for qualified applicants, according to an Aug. 3 DealerDog release. Customers can complete applications at the dealership, and most customers receive same-day credit decisions.
DealerDog offers monthly, quarterly, semiannual and annual payment schedules, according to the release. Qualified customers can defer their first payment for up to 12 months, allowing producers to purchase equipment before the season and begin payments after harvest.
Zero-down financing also is available, according to the release. DealerDog uses only the financed equipment as collateral, avoiding blanket liens that could affect operating or production credit lines.
Demco intends for the financing program to complement customers’ existing relationships with banks and Farm Credit associations, according to the release.
“DealerDog gives our dealers access to flexible financing that reflects the seasonal nature of agriculture while creating a faster and more transparent buying experience,” Matt Ricke, agriculture sales manager at Demco, said in the release.
Participating dealers receive access to an online application portal and commercial lending support at no cost, according to the release. DealerDog is an embedded equipment finance platform developed by TrueCore Capital.
