Duluth, Ga.-based AGCO Corporation and Treviglio, Italy-based SDF have entered a supply agreement to enhance Massey Ferguson’s low-mid horsepower tractor lineup, according to a Feb. 11 AGCO release.
Beginning mid-2025, SDF will manufacture proprietary tractors with up to 85 horsepower for most global markets, according to the release. The partnership aims to strengthen Massey Ferguson’s global position in this segment by providing reliable, high-quality equipment.
The new product range will include multiple powertrain options to meet diverse customer needs, according to the release. AGCO anticipates the refreshed lineup will help increase market share.
SDF’s vertically integrated production system will support the collaboration, leveraging its expertise in designing and manufacturing core components, according to the release. The companies plan to enhance customer satisfaction, drive profitable growth, and capitalize on economies of scale.
Massey Ferguson’s global distribution network will transition to the new tractor offerings in phases starting mid-2025, according to the release.
