New Holland has introduced IntelliSense Sprayer Automation, a new autonomous sprayer system designed to enhance efficiency.
The system, compatible with a wide range of crops, is slated to hit the market in 2026 and will be available in three models as part of the Guardian product line, New Holland parent company CNH Industrial announced in a March 2 release.
Unlike traditional boom-mounted camera systems, IntelliSense uses a single, cab-mounted camera to scan field conditions up to 50 feet ahead. This allows operators to drive and apply treatments at faster speeds while maintaining precision.
The system’s “selective spray” function offers two modes: Spot Spraying, which targets weeds under two inches tall, and Base + Boost, which applies a uniform base rate while increasing dosage where larger weeds are detected. Additional automation functions include variable rate applications for herbicide, nitrogen, fungicide, plant growth regulators and harvest aids.
