Pudu Robotics launched the PUDU GT Series, a three-model lineup of commercial robotic mowers designed for professional grounds maintenance, large turf areas, golf courses and sports fields.
The lineup includes the PUDU GT3, GT5 and GT7, each targeting a different commercial turf application, according to today’s Pudu Robotics release.
Pudu Robotics designed the 36-inch GT3 for campuses, business parks, hospitals and other properties with fragmented layouts, according to the release. It can mow and collect grass while also sweeping and collecting light debris from paved areas.
The 60-inch GT5 targets contractors and operators maintaining parks, campuses and other large commercial properties. Shenzhen, China-based Pudu Robotics said the mower can cover about 2 acres per hour, operate for up to 10 hours and mow as much as 16 acres on a single charge, depending on conditions.
Pudu Robotics designed the 62-inch GT7 for golf courses, sports fields and other precision turf applications, according to the release. It combines RTK positioning, LiDAR and camera vision, with positioning accuracy of up to plus or minus 2.5 centimeters under supported conditions. The mower also features three independently floating reel units and can handle slopes of up to 30 degrees.
Across the GT Series, LiDAR, cameras and depth sensing support autonomous mapping, navigation and obstacle avoidance, according to the release. The machines also include manual-drive capability, IP66-rated protection and emergency-stop functionality.
