Fleet Advantage achieved record lease originations during fiscal 2026 as the Class 8 truck lessor capitalized on shifting compliance and technologies in the commercial vehicle space.
The Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based lessor also sold more than 3,100 used trucks during the fiscal year ending June 30, setting a company record for remarketing volume, according to a company release today. Its portfolio now includes roughly 31,000 heavy-duty units, compared with more than 30,000 units disclosed in September 2025, due in part to a record first fiscal quarter.
Fleet Advantage serves more than 50 corporate fleets, including six of the 10 largest U.S. private fleets. For comparison, the company had about $3.7 billion in assets under management and five top-10 fleets as of April, according to a company release dated April 30.
The company attributed its performance partly to its pre-buy program, which advised clients to acquire trucks ahead of anticipated supply, pricing and regulatory changes, according to the release.
“This fiscal year is a testament to the professionalism and commitment of every person at Fleet Advantage,” President and Chief Executive Brian Holland said.
Fleet Advantage is developing Phase 2 readiness programs as fleets prepare for a 2027 regulatory compliance change according to the release. Compliant truck technology could carry an estimated premium of $10,000 to $12,000 per unit, compared with a projected noncompliance penalty of $6,000 to $8,000 per unit.
Fleet Advantage plans to introduce a flexible leasing product in fiscal 2027. It also expanded its Asset Performance Team during fiscal 2026 to manage vehicles from order placement through off-lease disposition.
