Equipment financier Transport Enterprise Leasing has added the Volvo VNL 860 sleeper truck to its lineup of commercial vehicles available for lease.

The VNL 860 joins TEL’s fleet of sleepers, including the Freightliner Cascadia and Peterbilt 579, reflecting the company’s portfolio expansion strategy, according to a March 18 TEL release. The addition strengthens TEL’s ability to meet varying customer priorities, whether that’s fuel efficiency, comfort, safety technology or long-haul performance, the company said.

“We are committed to investing in equipment that supports our owner-operator and fleet partners in a way that gives them the lowest total cost to operate,” Aaron Thompson, vice president of asset management at TEL, stated in the release. “Adding Volvo to our leasing lineup is a natural next step for TEL.”
