Channel, a national provider of equipment finance and working capital solutions, has announced a leadership transition to guide its next phase of growth.
Co-founder Adam Peterson has been named chief executive officer, succeeding Brad Peterson, who will retire but remain on the executive board as a strategic advisor, according to an Oct. 13 Channel release. Ryan Schlenner, formerly of U.S. Bank Equipment Finance, joins as managing director, bringing more than 20 years of experience in capital markets and partner development.
Channel’s parent company, Onset Financial, which acquired Channel in April, views the leadership shift as a reflection of the company’s commitment to innovation, product expansion and long-term partnership growth, according to the release. With more than $3 billion in assets and a nationwide presence, Channel plans to continue scaling its lending platform while maintaining its focus on relationship-driven service and disciplined capital management.
