November leadership changes in heavy-equipment industries comprised a rental giant, technology providers and several OEMs.
Birnbaum named president of Herc
Herc Holdings, the parent company of equipment rental provider Herc Rentals, promoted Aaron Birnbaum to president from chief operating officer and senior vice president, effective Jan. 1, 2026, according to a Nov. 24 news release. He will replace Larry Silber, who will remain chief executive of Herc Rentals and an executive board member.
Birnbaum has been with Herc and its predecessor businesses for more than 35 years, taking over as COO in January 2020. He has played a major role in planning and executing mergers and acquisitions.
The announcement comes after Herc completed the integration of H&E Equipment Services as part of its $5.3 billion acquisition. The company plans to add roughly 50 specialty rental locations over the next six months, Silber said during the company’s Oct. 28 earnings call.
Einride appoints Verma CFO
Einride, an autonomous trucking technology provider and EV freight company, appointed Anubhav Verma chief financial officer, effective in January 2026, according to a Nov. 24 company release.
The move comes as the Swedish company prepares to go public on the New York Stock Exchange after merging with special purpose acquisition company Legato Merger Corp. III.
Verma was most recently CFO of LiDAR technology company MicroVision. He also held senior positions at digital solutions provider Exela Technologies and started his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse.
JDR lifts Enevoldsen to CEO
JDR Solutions, which provides outsourcing, technology and consulting services to equipment finance companies, promoted Joey Enevoldsen to CEO from COO effective immediately, according to a Nov. 5 JDR release.
He succeeded Doug Williams, who remains a board member and will support strategic initiatives, according to the release. JDR has not named a new COO.
Enevoldsen joined the company four years ago, playing a key role in strengthening client relationships, expanding service offerings and enhancing operational efficiency.
Case taps Asteggiano to lead European sales
CNH Industrial subsidiary Case Construction Equipment announced Francesca Asteggiano’s transition to head of sales for Europe, effective Oct. 30, according to a Nov. 6 Case release.
Asteggiano joined CNH in 2013 and was previously head of commercial operations and dealer network development for Europe, Middle East and Africa, according to her LinkedIn profile. In her new role, she will focus on supporting the OEM’s dealer network and driving growth across Europe.
Volvo CE welcomes Arndorw
Swedish OEM Volvo Construction Equipment appointed Joakim Arndorw head of sales for Asia, effective Feb. 1, 2026, according to a Nov. 17 company release.
Arndorw will transition from head of region international, a role he has held since 2023. He will replace Tomas Kuta, who is returning to Sweden after leading Asian sales operations for seven years.
Arndorw joined Volvo CE in 2004, holding positions in product development, marketing and aftermarket sales, according to LinkedIn.
