Equipment technology provider Trimble has added APEX Technologies, a division of McCoy Construction & Forestry, to its dealer network.
Dubuque, Iowa-based APEX will now offer Trimble grade control systems, site-positioning technology and correction services to customers operating John Deere construction equipment and compatible attachments from LevelBest, SharpGrade and Burchland, according to a July 22 Trimble release. The lineup includes the Trimble Works Subscription, a bundled service allowing monthly payments, upgrade flexibility and ongoing software and firmware support.
The move supports Trimble’s plan to extend its distribution network by partnering with dealers serving a range of equipment brands. APEX will assist McCoy Construction & Forestry customers with sales, installation, service and training.
“This next phase in our evolution makes it easier for us to deliver technology that helps customers — no matter what machines they operate — become more efficient and competitive,” Dave Reinicke, vice president of product support and technology at McCoy, stated in the release.
Trimble is based in Broomfield, Co., and employs more than 9,000 people.
