Primrose transitions to Finning CFO
Finning International, the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer, appointed David Primrose chief financial officer effective immediately, according to a June 12 company release.
Primrose will transition from chief development officer while maintaining his other role as executive vice president. He is replacing Greg Palaschuk, who is leaving the company.
Primrose has held various leadership positions at Vancouver, Canada-based Finning, including president of Finning Canada and managing director for Finning UK and Ireland.
Kudo takes helm of Yanmar Compact Equipment
Japanese equipment manufacturer Yanmar Compact Equipment named Ryu Kudo chief executive officer effective immediately, according to a June 18 release by parent company Yanmar. He replaced Jose Cuadrado, who resigned last month.
Kudo, who joined the company in 2019, will also maintain his role of president and representative director of Yanmar Construction Equipment.
Volvo names Simons SVP of aftermarket sales
Commercial vehicle manufacturer Volvo Group appointed Richard Simons senior vice president of aftermarket parts sales at Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks, effective today, according to a June 18 company release.
Simons previously served as general manager of parts sales and marketing at Daimler Trucks North America, where he worked for more than 27 years, according to his LinkedIn profile.
Work Truck Solutions names first chief product officer
Commercial vehicle dealer solutions provider Work Truck Solutions expanded its leadership team, appointing Alex Young chief product officer, according to a June 3 company release.
Young will focus on accelerating growth of Work Truck Solutions’ Comvoy, an online commercial vehicle marketplace aimed at boosting dealer sales.
With 12 years of automotive experience, Young most recently worked at digital marketplace TrueCar, which he helped grow from a startup to a publicly traded company.
Catalyst taps Mosko to bolster specialty rental services
Catalyst Strategic Advisors, a mergers and acquisitions advisory firm serving equipment rental, industrial and environmental industries, named Josh Mosko senior vice president of business development, according to a June 24 company release.
Mosko will focus on enhancing Catalyst’s presence in the specialty equipment rental market, including power generation, temperature control and pumping equipment sectors.
With more than 20 years of experience in the equipment rental industry, Mosko helped launch and scale United Rentals’ specialty rental division. He most recently was vice president of business development at power generation and temperature control solutions provider CES Power, according to his LinkedIn.
