Mack Trucks has introduced its Mack Anthem, a fully redesigned truck built specifically for regional-haul operations, with up to 10% better fuel efficiency than its predecessor, enhanced maneuverability for navigating tight spaces, and driver features aimed at improving comfort and safety.

This marks Mack’s second major vehicle launch in 2025, following the release of its long-haul Pioneer model, according to a June 25 Mack Trucks release.

Designed for weight-sensitive industries such as fuel, food-grade, dry bulk, and general freight transport, the new Anthem features a shortened bumper-to-back-of-cab length of 113.5 inches, making it ideal for urban and regional routes, according to the company. Its new hood improves forward visibility, reducing blind spots and lowering the risk of front-corner collisions.

The Anthem shares many interior elements with the long-haul Pioneer, allowing drivers to enjoy consistent comfort across Mack’s highway lineup, according to the release. Mack has also integrated advanced connectivity tools into the Anthem, including the Mack Connect telematics platform and MyMack driver app, which allow for real-time vehicle diagnostics, remote software updates, and pre-trip checks from mobile devices.

Predictive maintenance tools and integration with GuardDog Connect help reduce unplanned service events and overall downtime by up to 37%, according to the release. The new Anthem will be available for order starting in August 2025, with production beginning in January 2026 at Mack’s U.S.-based manufacturing facilities.
