Northern Tool and Equipment launched a new line of Powerhorse generators, expanding its power management solutions with the only full range of dual-fuel generators on the market.

The Powerhorse lineup includes ultra-quiet inverters and high-power open-frame portable generators, with dual- and tri-fuel options that run on propane, gasoline or natural gas, according to a March 18 Northern Tool and Equipment release. Designed for both job sites and home use, the generators offer industry-leading wattage and power capacity.

Powerhorse generators are available online and at Northern Tool and Equipment stores, according to the release. Capable of delivering up to 27,000 surge watts, the generators are built for a range of applications, from small projects to large-scale power needs.

Burnsville, Minn.-based Northern Tool and Equipment has served DIYers and trade professionals for more than 40 years, offering over 100,000 tools and equipment, according to the release.

With more than 130 retail stores, an online marketplace and a contact center, the company provides expert guidance and repair services, according to the release. Through its Tools for the Trades program, Northern Tool supports workforce development by donating tools to schools to help train the next generation of skilled workers.

The third annual Equipment Finance Connect at the JW Marriott Nashville on May 14-15, 2025, is the only event for both equipment dealers and finance providers. Learn more and register here.
