CNH Industrial has introduced the AI Tech Assistant, a chatbot designed to help dealers of its agricultural and construction brands quickly access technical support.

The tool uses artificial intelligence to scan extensive technical documentation and provide instant, precise answers to repair and diagnostic queries, according to a Jan. 15 release. Developed with feedback from the dealer network, the AI Tech Assistant aids technicians by streamlining repair processes and addressing knowledge gaps, particularly for legacy equipment.

Its functionality includes troubleshooting via machine serial numbers and supporting multiple languages, benefiting over 1,700 dealer employees across 300 dealer groups, according to the company’s website. Initially piloted in North America, the tool is expanding globally, with pilots underway in Australia and New Zealand and internal testing in Brazil and Europe. CNH Industrial plans to roll out the tool in four regions by March 2025, further integrating it into daily dealer operations.

According to the release, CNH aims to reduce downtime, enhance productivity, and improve customer service for its dealers worldwide by simplifying access to critical information.

The third annual Equipment Finance Connect at the JW Marriott Nashville in Nashville, Tenn., on May 14-15, 2025, is the only event that brings together equipment dealers and lenders to share insights, attend discussions on crucial industry topics and network with peers.
