Wingspire Equipment Finance closed a $407.1 million equipment asset-backed securitization, its third and largest ABS issuance to date.
Tustin, Calif.-based Wingspire’s transaction issued six classes of notes, with Fitch Ratings and Kroll Bond Rating Agency assigning AAA ratings to the senior notes, according to today’s company release. Wingspire said the offering was more than five times oversubscribed.
The securitization is backed by equipment lease and loan contracts with an aggregate value of approximately $438.2 million as of Aug. 31, according to the release. The portfolio includes 211 contracts across 63 obligors.
Wingspire’s Chief Executive Eric Freeman said the company has closed three ABS transactions in three years, each larger than the last. The deals have expanded the company’s capacity to finance larger equipment transactions.
Wingspire completed a $201 million ABS issuance in 2024 and raised more than $292 million in 2025, according to the release.
The company also funded $701.3 million in volume during 2025, up 66% from 2024, according to the release. Wingspire provides large-ticket financing to middle-market and private equity-backed companies.
